Giving opportunities

Volunteer your time and generosity

Become a mentor to aspiring doctors. Provide valuable insight as a guest speaker at a Wayne State University School of Medicine event. Give students a first-hand look at the field through a job-shadowing experience in your workplace.
Donating your time and expertise helps students from underrepresented backgrounds achieve their goals and pursue medical careers.

Donate to the Charles F. Whitten, M.D., Post Baccalaureate Endowment Fund

By donating to Charles F. Whitten, M.D., Post Baccalaureate Endowment Fund, you help grow and sustain the Wayne State University School of Medicine's vital Post Baccalaureate Program, which works to increase diversity in health care professions by increasing the number of physicians from underrepresented populations in medicine.

Donate to the WSU Black Medical Association Endowed Grant Fund

A donation to the Black Medical Association Endowed Student Award, supports the development of academic excellence and professionalism among African-American and minority students, as well as the organization's many outreach programs aimed at youth development, academic support and community service. The Black Medical Association is one of the oldest and most active student organizations in the Wayne State University School of Medicine.
