Patrice Harold

Patrice Harold, M.D.

Patrice Harold, M.D., Class of 1989, was born and raised in Detroit, Mich.

She received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Wayne State University, and her medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1989. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at DMC’s Hutzel Hospital.

After completing her residency, Dr. Harold was employed by the Detroit Medical Center to practice and oversee the Institute for Women’s Medicine in Southfield, Mich. In March 2000, she started her private practice in Southfield, specializing in women's health. She is the director of Minimally Invasive Surgery at Hutzel Hospital.

A former president and now treasurer of the Wayne State University School of Medicine Alumni Association, Dr. Harold is a member of the National Medical Society, the Detroit Medical Society and the Michigan State Medical Society. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and a member of the Motor City chapter of Jack and Jill, a national organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for African American children.
